Hyundai, Mahindra and Honda Increased The prices
The major automakers Hyundai, Mahindra & Mahindra and Honda increased the prices of its cars by up to Rs. 82906, following the introduction of new taxes in the budget of the Union.
Country maker Maruti Suzuki India's largest automaker has already raised product prices in the range of Rs. 1,441 and Rs. 34.494. Mercedes-Benz will become more expensive to Rs five lakh passenger vehicles and Tata Motors will cost up to Rs.35,000 more.
Hyundai Motor India said the increase, effective March 1, will be between Rs.2,889 and Rs.82,906 depending on the model.
While the price of variants bases by Eon will Rs.2,889, i10 will be costlier by Rs.3,848; Rs.4,286 Grand; Xcent by Rs.4,726; Rs.4,886 Elite i20; i20 Active Rs. 5,857; Verna by Rs.5,677; Crete by Rs.27,192; Elantra for Rs. 45,044 and Rs.82,906 Santa Fe.
Similarly, Honda Cars India raised the price of its entry-level car Brio range of Rs.4,000 to Rs.6,000, , Jazz between Rs.5,000 and Rs.19,500 and midsize sedan City from Rs.24,600 to Rs 38.100. Moreover, its Mobilio multi-utility vehicle will cost Rs.21,800 to Rs.37,700 now over.
Mahindra & Mahindra important utility has announced a price increase by Rs.5,500 to Rs.47,000, effective April 1.
