Xiaomi MI5 India launches In a Month
Xiaomi in redmi Note 3 launch of India confirmed on Thursday that MI5 flagship smartphone will "come to India launches in a month." Global Xiaomi VP Hugo Barra, during the event highlighted the team in India is trying to get the phone here with out specifying a date exact.
The Chinese company also announced Xiaomi Mi Bluetooth speaker for the Indian market. Priced at Rs. 1999, it is expected that the speaker to be near Holi Festival available and will be available in blue, gold and pink.
If the Xiaomi MI 5 launches smartphone before April. Barra also revealed that the company received a massive 1.6 crore registrations for MI5, which went on sale in China on Monday.
Barra had previously confirmed that the MI 5 will be launched in major markets and had also called potential markets where the flagship will be available first - Brazil, China, India, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines.
He had also hinted that the company was looking at ways to expand the availability, but will focus on current operating markets.
Coming to the speaker My Bluetooth, the device has aluminum body and weighs 270 grams. It will come with microSD card slot and comes with built-in microphone. Users can receive calls automatically from the speaker without changing the phone. The company says the My Bluetooth speaker can provide up to 8 hours of music playback.
It should be remembered that the Xiaomi MI 5 was announced in three versions - Standard Edition with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB built-in storage LPDD4 at a price of 1,999 CNY; (Approximately 21,000 Rs.) Privileged version with 3 GB of RAM and storage LPDDR4 64GB priced at 2,299 CNY (approximately Rs. 24,000), and the Pro version with 4 GB of RAM LPDD4 and storage of 128GB at a price of 2,699 CNY (approximately Rs. 28,000).
